Alegra constantly strives for quality, in order to satisfy customers’ demands and anticipate their needs through ongoing monitoring of production and market studies.
Alegra’s member farmers and partners are located in traditional agricoltural areas. Each fruit and vegetable is grown using low-environmental-impact farming methods.
We aim to use environmentally friendly materials as far as possible, such as plastic free, compostable or 100% recyclable packaging.
Through the work of specialist technical staff based at our own members’ and our partners’ facilities, Alegra is able to monitor and follow every step of the production process, from the fields to the shipment of the packed product. Every operation along the whole supply chain is totally traceable.
All our facilities are certified compliant with the highest international standards: BRC, IFS, ISO-9001, ISO1-14001, ISO-22500, Global Gap, Global Grasp, SA 8000.
Alegra’s commitment begins in the field, where our agronomists work alongside the farmers to take shared decisions about the best varieties and growing methods to use, then continues in subsequent stages at the collection and packaging centres, right up to the consumer’s table.
Alegra has member farms across Italy; this means that we can offer a wide range of products grown in the best traditional areas.
Monitoring is carried out throughout the entire production cycle.
Our agronomists and warehouse managers provide respectively support to farmers while the crops are being grown and controls within the processing facilities.
All our processing facilities have been certified compliant with the strictest international quality standards.
